Job Opportunity: Strategic Government Partnership Advisor

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with government stakeholders, supporting the achievement of strategic objectives and facilitating effective collaboration.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    1. Develop and review papers, briefings, policies, and reports to enhance engagement with government across the organization.
    2. Monitor emerging government issues, manage events, issues, and briefings, and serve as the primary point of contact for government-related matters.
  • Required Skills and Qualifications:
    1. Demonstrated experience in government relations within Australia in a complex environment.
    2. In-depth knowledge of Australia's electricity and gas sectors.
    3. Familiarity with the machinery of government, including direct experience liaising at senior Departmental and Ministerial office level.
    4. Established networks and reputation with governments, particularly at the Federal level.
  • Education:

    Tertiary qualifications in business, policy, commerce, economics, law, or related disciplines are highly regarded.
