This role involves managing payroll-related general ledger entries and reconciliations, preparing and processing intercompany journals, ensuring timely and compliant payroll tax and superannuation payments, overseeing vendor payments related to payroll activities, supporting period-end processes and reporting, and helping streamline payroll-related processes and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage payroll-related general ledger entries and reconciliations
- Prepare and process intercompany journals
- Ensure timely and compliant payroll tax and superannuation payments
- Oversee vendor payments related to payroll activities
- Support period-end processes and reporting
- Help streamline payroll-related processes and documentation
- Solid payroll accounting experience from GLs to tax and compliance
- Confidence working with high-volume data and multiple systems
- Understanding of superannuation, payroll tax, and intercompany accounting
- Experience in FMCG, large corporate, or fast-paced environments
- Collaborative approach and strong attention to detail
- A 6-month contract position
