Senior Payroll Officer
About the RoleAs a senior payroll officer, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll services. You will be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing, including handling high-volume payroll processing efficiently, maintaining strong understanding of payroll systems, interpreting and applying complex EBAs and awards, managing terminations and redundancies, delivering exceptional internal customer service and support, and responding to payroll queries and maintaining the payroll inbox.
Responsibilities- Process end-to-end payroll
- Handle high-volume payroll processing efficiently
- Maintain strong understanding of payroll systems
- Interpret and apply complex EBAs and awards
- Manage terminations and redundancies
- Deliver exceptional internal customer service and support
- Respond to payroll queries and maintain the payroll inbox
- Ability to manage full function payroll
- Experience using Chris21 or ichris is essential
- Strong knowledge of EBAs and awards
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines
- Team player with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach
