**About the Role:**

The Royal Hobart Hospital's Trauma Service is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join their team as a Clinical Nurse Consultant - Trauma.

About the Team:

The Trauma Service provides initial inpatient management for major trauma patients, including assessment, stabilization, and coordination of multidisciplinary care. The service oversees trauma system governance, the Tasmanian trauma registry, continuous quality improvement, and workforce development.

About You:

We are looking for a clinical leader with extensive experience in surgical or perioperative, critical care, or emergency department nursing. The ideal candidate will be patient-focused, self-aware, and able to manage ambiguity and complexity. They will also have the ability to initiate, guide, and motivate a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide clinical leadership for trauma case management
  2. Assist in trauma quality improvement and delivery of trauma-related education
  3. Implement and evaluate change and develop direction in clinical practice through planning, quality improvement, research, and clinical risk management activities
