Surgical and Perioperative Clinical Expertise

We are seeking a highly experienced Clinical Nurse Consultant with advanced level clinical expertise in surgical or perioperative, critical care or emergency department nursing to join our team at the Royal Hobart Hospital.

Duties:

  • Contribute to the initial inpatient management of major trauma patients, including assessment, stabilisation and coordination of multidisciplinary care.
  • Lead the team in providing trauma-related education and training.
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement and workforce development activities.

Requirements:

  • Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in trauma nursing.
  • Relevant postgraduate qualifications aligned with trauma nursing.
