Role Overview:
The Department of Health, Tasmania invites applications for a Clinical Nurse Consultant position in the Trauma Service at the Royal Hobart Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-quality trauma care and lead the team in providing contemporary leadership and expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical leadership for trauma case management and assist in quality improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Director of Trauma and Nurse Manager to develop and implement trauma-related education programs.
- Implement and evaluate change in clinical practice through planning, research, and risk management activities.
Requirements:
- Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Registered Nurse with trauma experience.
- Holds relevant postgraduate qualifications aligned with trauma nursing.
