About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fitness Professional to join our team as a Casual Fitness Consultant.

The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, a passion for health and fitness, and be able to provide professional and accurate information to customers.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing exceptional customer service to clients, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues promptly and professionally
  • Conducting fitness assessments, creating personalized exercise plans, and monitoring client progress
  • Maintaining accurate records of client interactions, including fitness assessments, progress notes, and goal setting discussions
  • Participating in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date on industry best practices and new technologies
  • Collaborating with colleagues to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) and contribute to the success of the Key Venues team
  • Ensuring compliance with policies and procedures related to child protection and workplace safety
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualifications in a related field (minimum Certificate III in Fitness)
  • Registered Fitness Leader (AUSactive, Fitrec, Physical Activity Australia or equivalent)
  • Current CPR certification
  • Current First Aid certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain own accreditation and stay up-to-date on industry developments
  • Experience working in a leisure environment and achieving targets
  • Experience working in a team environment and as a self-starter
  • Current Working with Children Check
