About the Role

Our Environmental Services department is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join a motivated and results-driven team. Working within a core group, this role will conduct laboratory activities such as collecting and analyzing samples for water quality monitoring to enable the safe achievement of delivering on-spec services to our community.

Reporting to the Laboratory Supervisor, this permanent position is offered on a flexible roster.

Your Responsibilities
  • Collection and analysis of samples while standardizing processes and ensuring quality
  • Review outcomes of performance monitoring activities to draw insights on sample quality and flag potential risks with relevant teams
  • Complete problem-solving routines to implement countermeasures at the root cause
  • Following laboratory standards and procedures while identifying improvement opportunities
  • Equipment calibration and accuracy
  • Actively support and adhere to safety procedures and practices
  • Data entry and quality control
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace
About You
