
Hospitality Operations Director

About the Role
We are seeking an accomplished Venue Manager to lead our hospitality operations with strategic vision and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
This is not just a shift management role, but a hands-on leadership position that requires someone who can drive results, optimize business performance, and become the face of the venue.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading high-performance teams, managing fast-paced operations, and staying composed under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Oversight: Run the floor efficiently, set and uphold service standards, and lead daily team briefings.
- Bar and Beverage Leadership: Oversee bar operations, train team members, and monitor beverage costs.
- Wage and Cost Control: Maintain control of rosters, labour costs, and team productivity, and oversee ordering and stock levels.
- Marketing and Brand Promotion: Act as the face of the venue, build relationships with customers, and work with ownership to plan marketing campaigns.
- Supplier Management: Manage supplier relationships directly, negotiate pricing, and explore new supplier options.
- Guest Experience and Upselling Strategy: Lead with a warm service style, be present on the floor, and drive upselling and strategic service delivery.
