Trade Account Manager

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced sales professional to excel in our team. As a Trade Account Manager, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with builders across south east Queensland and delivering exceptional customer service.

You will have previous sales experience at a Sales Representative/Account Management level or similar capacity. Your ability to establish strong connections in a B2B environment within the residential building industry will see you succeed in this dynamic role.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Consistently achieve sales, margin and product mix targets through strategic planning and effective execution.
  • Develop and execute initiatives to attract new customers while growing existing business.
  • Analyse sales and customer data to identify new opportunities and drive business growth.
  • Effectively manage a diverse Builder centric customer base to ensure optimal satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Design and implement sales plans and initiatives that meet business objectives.
  • Represent both Hardings/Hudsons and wider TTHG brands to key industry stakeholders through sales meetings, training and industry events.
Requirements:
  • A strong ability to develop and maintain B2B relationships and influence decision-making.
  • A comprehensive understanding of the building industry with a focus on FOW Plumbing, Appliances, cladding and hardware products.
  • Previous experience in a similar sales role with a proven track record of success.
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills are essential for driving sales growth and building long-term relationships.
  • A sound business acumen with the ability to understand relevant financials and make informed decisions.
