Laundry Department Supervisor

This role is responsible for overseeing the operation of the laundry department, ensuring that processes are efficient and effective. The successful candidate will be in charge of supervising team members, managing schedules, and training new staff according to industry standards.
Main Responsibilities:- Team Management: Direct and supervise team members on all operations in the department, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Process Improvement: Inspect the area for productive methods and procedures used, making recommendations for improvement.
- Customer Service: Assist guests with urgent laundry requests, providing excellent customer service and resolving issues promptly.
- Quality Control: Maintain quality control for in-house linen and uniforms, ensuring high standards are met.
- Reporting: Report promptly any faulty equipment to the relevant departments, minimizing downtime and ensuring smooth operations.
- Education: High School degree or equivalent.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a similar position in a hotel or comparable industry.
- Skills: Good communication, organizational, and coordination skills, with a strong ability to work as part of a team.
