About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Media Planning and Strategy to join our team at Monks Associates Inc.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in media planning and strategy, with a proven track record of delivering successful campaigns and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Media Planning and Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive media plans that align with business objectives and drive results.
  • Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of media planners and strategists, providing guidance and support to ensure success.
  • Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
  • Campaign Execution: Oversee the execution of campaigns, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Media Buying: Negotiate and manage media buys, securing the best possible rates and terms.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze campaign performance, identifying areas for improvement and optimizing future campaigns.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in media planning and strategy, preferably in a paid media agency.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively present ideas and strategies to clients and stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of delivering successful campaigns and driving business growth.
  • Strong knowledge of media research tools and resources, including Nielsen, MRI/Simmons, GWI, Pathmatics, Kantar, and MediaOcean.
