Alcohol and Other Drugs Leadership Position

We are seeking an experienced leader to oversee our alcohol and other drug services, providing operational leadership and line management to a multidisciplinary team of professionals. The successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day operations, including approval of timesheets, leave, rostering, and individual work plans.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide operational leadership and line management to the AOD Team
- Support staff in reviewing and discharging clients to meet service KPIs
- Offer clinical expertise and secondary consultation to staff and external agencies
- Recruit, induct, and train new staff, leading induction and on-boarding processes
- Collaborate with Senior Clinicians and Management to implement policies, procedures, and best practices
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in mental health, social work, psychology, or a related discipline
- Demonstrated experience working in alcohol and other drugs, mental health, or community services (minimum five years)
- Proven people management and leadership skills
- Sound understanding of AOD funding and KPIs
- Experience in assessing, managing, and documenting clinical risks
