This position offers a unique opportunity to lead and manage a multidisciplinary team of professionals in an alcohol and other drugs (AOD) service.
The successful candidate will provide operational leadership, line management, and clinical expertise to staff, ensuring high-quality care and outcomes for clients.
This role involves supervising staff, reviewing client progress, providing clinical guidance, and collaborating with senior clinicians and management to achieve organizational goals.
Key responsibilities include developing and implementing policies and procedures, monitoring KPIs, and contributing to strategic planning and decision-making.
The AOD Team Leader will work closely with the Manager and Senior Clinicians to ensure effective service delivery, staff development, and continuous improvement.
- Provide day-to-day operational supervision and support to the AOD team.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including client data and staff performance metrics.
- Collaborate with senior clinicians and management to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in mental health, social work, psychology, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience working in AOD services, with a strong understanding of funding streams and KPIs.
- Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for delivering high-quality care.
