Event Coordinator Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced event coordinator to join our team and help make a positive difference in the lives of people with disabilities. As part of our high-performing fundraising team, you will be responsible for managing the development and delivery of high net worth, quality fundraising events that align with our strategic direction and support the achievement of fundraising targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Building strong working relationships with stakeholders, including guest management.
  • Developing and implementing fundraising strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Ensuring a quality supporter experience, increased participation, and contribution to grow revenue.
  • Creating operational plans to ensure effective delivery and execution of fundraising events within agreed constraints.
  • Development and delivery of event communications content and digital marketing.
  • Creating sponsorship proposals; collaborating with the corporate engagement team to secure event sponsorship and ticket sales, managing ongoing relationships with sponsors to build long-term sustainable relationships.
What We're Looking For:
  • Demonstrated experience as an event coordinator in a fast-paced environment with event planning, delivery, and management experience.
  • Sound experience in event-based, peer-to-peer, and/or community fundraising.
  • Digital fundraising experience with a demonstrated commitment to excellent donor stewardship.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management with a high level of verbal communication skills, well-developed influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Pipeline and budget management experience with proven results in meeting and exceeding revenue targets.
