We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Business Analyst to join our organization. In this role, you will play a key part in reviewing and improving our payroll processes to ensure they align with industry standards.

As a Payroll Business Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with the payroll operations team to identify areas for improvement. You will gather business requirements, document current processes, and work with stakeholders to define future states for all payroll and time attendance processes.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Gathering detailed business requirements and documenting current processes to inform future changes.
  • Creating detailed functional specifications and process maps to guide the development and implementation of new systems.
  • Defining business processes through investigation and gathering technical and non-technical information.
  • Conducting regular audits of payroll data and identifying variances to maintain accuracy and compliance.
  • Reviewing and implementing payroll process changes while ensuring legal obligations are met.
  • Engaging with stakeholders to facilitate communication and collaboration.

To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

  • Prior experience with large transactional payroll systems.
  • A strong understanding of EBAs, Awards, Payroll regulations, and data management.
  • An ability to analyze data, identify trends, and draw meaningful insights from business processes and performance metrics.
  • A high level of attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and integrity.
  • Talented communication skills to convey complex analysis and data to varying levels of our organization.
  • The ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • System knowledge in Kronos and Preceda.
  • Strong documentation and Excel skills.
