Payroll Business Process Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
  • Gather detailed business requirements and document current processes to assist in defining future states for all payroll, and time and attendance systems.
  • Create detailed functional specifications, process maps, and use cases to guide the development and implementation of new payroll systems.
  • Define business processes through detailed investigation and gathering of technical and non-technical information.
  • Conduct regular audits of payroll data and identify variances.
  • Review, recommend, and implement payroll process changes ensuring legal obligations are met.
  • Engage with stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Experience with large transactional payroll systems.
  • Knowledge of employee benefits administration, awards, payroll regulations, and data management.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and draw meaningful insights from business processes and performance metrics.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and integrity.
  • Effective communication skills to convey complex analysis and data to varying levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • System knowledge in Kronos and Preceda.
  • Strong documentation and Excel skills.
The Role Involves Hybrid Work from Home Three Days a Week. The Job Is a 12-Month Contract Position with the Possibility of an Extension. You Will Collaborate with the Payroll Operations Team to Review, Recommend, and Implement Changes to Payroll Processes, Ensuring Payroll Data Accuracy and Compliance.
