About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Asset Manager to lead our commercial property portfolio. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing a diverse range of assets, ensuring optimal financial performance, and driving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lease Administration & Tenant Management
    • Oversee commercial and retail leases and licenses, ensuring compliance and client interest protection
    • Lead lease negotiations, including renewals, rent reviews, and re-leasing
    • Manage key dates, documentation, and correspondence for all properties
    • Monitor market trends and legislative changes
    • Coordinate with owners on marketing vacant premises
  • Financial
    • Maximize and protect clients' cash flow
    • Ensure timely billing, collection, and action on overdue payments
    • Prepare annual budgets and forecasts for each property
    • Control operating costs and manage financial reconciliations
    • Handle tenant recharges for statutory and recoverable expenses
  • Property Operations and Maintenance
    • Manage a diverse portfolio of commercial and retail assets
    • Implement preventative maintenance schedules
    • Oversee property operations, including common areas and tenant spaces
    • Manage after-hours and emergency maintenance
    • Conduct regular inspections and liaise with tenants, contractors, and owners
    About You
    • Proven experience in commercial real estate management
    • Strong analytical skills with a strategic approach to asset optimization
    • Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills
    • Self-motivated with a growth mindset and 'can-do' attitude
    • Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure
    • High degree of accountability and attention to detail
    Qualifications
    • Agents Representative Certificate
    • Working with Children's Check
    • Current Driver's License
