A permanent, full-time position is available in Melbourne with a hybrid working arrangement.
We are seeking an expert in trade compliance to drive regulatory management and capitalize on opportunities. As our Trade Compliance Country Manager - ANZ, you will be responsible for overseeing trade compliance programs across Australia and New Zealand.
This role involves acting as the primary interface with freight forwarders, government agencies, and customs brokers. You will design and implement compliance programs, conduct audits, develop strategies for cost avoidance, lead initiatives in duty drawback and free trade agreements, and share your knowledge by training Mars Associates on new trade policies.
This position requires specialized knowledge in trade and customs compliance regulations for Australia/NZ, minimum 7+ years of experience in trade and customs compliance, strong experience in complex CPG, legal, or consulting environments, and Australian citizenship is required.
