Job Overview

We are seeking a Trade Compliance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the effective implementation of governance frameworks for Global Trade Management at the country level.

This position involves overseeing and monitoring the implementation of Corporate Regulations, Standard Operating Procedures, and guidelines across Business Units. The Trade Compliance Specialist will work closely with Business Units to analyze trade flows and customs duty spend, identifying opportunities for duty savings.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical skills, be proficient in spoken and written English, and have a relevant bachelor's degree or diploma in subjects related to Trade Compliance, Export Import, Customs management.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Overseeing the implementation of Corporate Regulations, Standard Operating Procedures, and guidelines across Business Units.
  • Analyzing trade flows and customs duty spend to identify opportunities for duty savings.
  • Providing guidance on trade issues and stopping individual business transactions or partnering with specific business partners.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to provide trade-related training and conducting trade reviews and audits.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in subjects related to Trade Compliance, Export Import, Customs management.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in Trade Compliance, Import/Export Compliance, Customs management, Taxes.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English.
