Job Overview

Australia-based Compliance role seeks a professional to perform trade surveillance activities, analyse exceptions, and drive process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with peers in Monitoring, Surveillance and Control teams.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with senior management.

Requirements:

  • Experience in trade/market surveillance or audit/compliance controls testing within the financial industry.
  • Knowledge of financial markets, products and trade lifecycle.
  • Curiosity to identify suspicious trading patterns, investigate and draw meaningful conclusions.
  • Knowledge of anti-money laundering and know your client requirements for high net worth clients.
  • Ability to quickly understand complex processes and challenge the status quo.
  • Excellent organisational, time management and problem solving skills.
  • Willingness to learn new concepts and methods.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with senior stakeholders.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Recent graduates with Economics, Finance or Commerce degrees will be considered.
