Event Coordinator Role

We are seeking a skilled Event Coordinator to join our team. As an ambassador of our brand, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional events at our hotel.

  • Set up event spaces according to specifications, including table arrangement, linens, décor, signage, and event materials
  • Provide outstanding guest service before, during, and post-event, ensuring timely food and beverage service
  • Act as a point of contact for clients, communicating last-minute changes or requests
  • Ensure event spaces remain tidy and safe during functions
  • Report event outcomes or incidents to supervisors and assist with post-event inventory and feedback
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or large-scale events venue
  • Proven success working on large-scale events and strong operational logistics understanding
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organisational, and time-management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with a guest-first mindset
  • Flexibility to work varied rosters, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
  • Hold current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification
  • Calm under pressure, handling complaints, emergencies, or operational hiccups without disruption
  • Full working rights in Australia without restrictions
  • Impeccable grooming standards and good personal hygiene
  • Physical fitness, with equipment support for heavy lifting and pushing/pulling objects up to 23 kg
