Job Overview

The role of a Care Worker is to provide personal care and support services for aged care clients in their own homes.

This position requires a caring and compassionate individual with excellent communication skills, able to work independently and as part of a team.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing daily living support, including assistance with mobility, bathing, dressing and grooming
  • Assisting clients with medication management and maintaining accurate records
  • Preparing healthy meals and snacks, and assisting with grocery shopping
  • Performing light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning and laundry

Personal Care Responsibilities:
  • Supporting clients with complex care needs, such as dementia or physical disabilities
  • Providing emotional support and companionship to clients
  • Assisting clients with transport to appointments and activities

Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 months experience in a similar professional role, preferably in aged care
  • An Open class Australian Driver's Licence and a reliable vehicle
