Job Overview:

A personal care attendant plays a vital role in enhancing the lives of residents in a warm and inviting community. They provide daily care services that promote independence and well-being, fostering strong relationships with residents, their families, and colleagues.

The Opportunity:

Residents require kind, caring, and respectful personal care that supports their choice and independence. As a personal care attendant, you will ensure all residents receive tailored daily personal care in line with their current care plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide safe and effective daily personal care, tailored to the resident's care needs
  • Ensure all residents receive kind, caring, and respectful personal care that supports their choice and independence
  • Assist residents and the community with tasks including medical and personal support, domestic cleaning, and general admin duties
  • Support residents with recreational and social activities
  • Follow safety protocols and report any incidents

Requirements:

  • Certificate III/IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, Disability, or Health Services Assistance (required)
  • Current First Aid & CPR certificate (required)
  • Current Police Check clearance (required)
  • Current COVID-19 Vaccinations up to date (required)
