About Our Personal Support Worker Role

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in the overall wellbeing of our residents by providing quality personal, social and emotional care and support.

Key Responsibilities:

- Providing personal care, such as assisting with activities like showering, dressing, toileting and grooming, maintaining the dignity and privacy of each resident.

- Assisting with mobility, helping residents with walking, using mobility aids or transferring between different positions including from a bed to a wheelchair.

- Monitoring health, observing and reporting any changes in the resident's health or behavior.

- Supporting residents with their dietary requirements, ensuring they receive the food they need and assisting them in the process of eating.

- Maintaining accurate records of care provided, observations and any changes in the resident's condition.

- Collaborating with healthcare professionals, working in collaboration with nurses, doctors and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for our residents.

Requirements:

- Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent.

- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

- Friendly and effective communication abilities.
