**Job Title:** Enrolled Nurse

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Enrolled Nurse to join our team. As an Enrolled Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to clients in their homes. You will work independently, but also contribute effectively as part of a collaborative team.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with clients and their families to assess their needs and establish trusting relationships
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans
  • Provide nursing and in-home care services, including wound care, insulin administration, and medication management
  • Address inquiries and provide detailed feedback as required
  • Ensure all client documentation is completed accurately within our systems
  • Interpret and communicate relevant policies and procedures regarding health, aged care, and disability services to carers and staff
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to aged and disability care services
  • Foster best practice standards in caregiver management and encourage ongoing professional development
  • Coordinate with the accounts department to ensure accurate billing in accordance with care plans
  • Ensure adherence to Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) regulations

Requirements:

  • Enrolled Nurse (EN) with 1-2 years of experience in community nursing and current AHPRA registration
  • Alternatively, a Certificate III or IV in Aged/Disability Care with a minimum of 4 years' experience
  • Proven experience in aged care, disability, or mental health within a community setting
  • Strong understanding of Aged Care and Disability Standards, as well as consumer-directed care principles
  • Current First Aid, CPR certification, and National Police Check
  • Working With Children (WWC) check or willingness to obtain
  • A valid driver's license and access to a reliable car with comprehensive insurance
  • High level of computer literacy and proficiency with relevant software
  • Solid understanding of clinical governance and a commitment to continuous improvement
  • A positive, 'can-do' attitude with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
