About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Obstetrics and Gynaecology Unit on a permanent, full-time/part-time basis. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering advanced clinical care, problem-solving, and leadership within a specialist nursing environment.
Your responsibilities will encompass ensuring high-quality standards are met through expert planning, coordination, and management of specialist nursing care. - Provide high-quality patient care using advanced clinical skills.
- Collaborate with patients and caregivers to identify healthcare needs.
- Adhere to documentation standards and coordinate work functions.
- Undertake discharge planning and act as a mentor when required.
- Develop and maintain rosters, support policy implementation.
- Manage labour resources, allocate resources effectively.
- Analyse data, promote workplace safety and customer satisfaction.
- Participate in meetings, quality activities, and professional development.
- Accept individual responsibility and adhere to organisational policies.
About You
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse who possesses:
- Current registration with the Australian Health Regulation Agency as a Division 1 Registered Nurse.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience working as a Registered Nurse in the Obstetrics and Gynaecology speciality.
- Postgraduate tertiary qualifications applicable to healthcare team speciality (desired).
- Advanced clinical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong planning and coordination abilities in clinical patient care management.
- Ability to work effectively within a collegiate healthcare team structure.
- Familiarity with the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards.
