Key Responsibilities
  • Oversight of development assessment processes, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Mentoring and supporting a team of development assessment staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Collaboration with other Sections of the City to improve and refine development assessment services, systems, and processes.
  • Leading day-to-day activities of a Development Assessment Team, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in urban and regional planning or equivalent.
  • Experience in development assessment, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
