Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Media Director to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of our planning team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional media solutions that drive business results for our clients.

About the Role
  • Lead the development of strategic media plans that align with client objectives and deliver measurable results.
  • Maintain strong relationships with media partners to stay up-to-date on the latest industry trends and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal product teams to ensure a deep understanding of their offerings and relevance to client challenges.
  • Analyse audience data to identify opportunities for growth and develop effective media strategies to capture these audiences.
  • Deliver high-quality presentations and reports that showcase your expertise and provide actionable insights to clients.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and execute comprehensive media plans that meet or exceed client expectations.
  2. Manage and maintain a deep understanding of media channels, including traditional and digital platforms.
  3. Stay up-to-date on the latest industry trends, technologies, and innovations that impact media planning.
  4. Foster strong relationships with media partners to negotiate rates, terms, and conditions that benefit our clients.
  5. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of media plans.
Requirements
  • Advanced degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in media planning, with a proven track record of delivering successful campaigns.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex ideas into clear, concise language.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.
Salary Estimate

The estimated salary for this role is AU$120,000 - AU$150,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location.
