We are seeking a dedicated Payroll Specialist to join our dynamic Finance team. This role is crucial in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while maintaining compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
- Work closely with the People and Culture team, prepare and process end-to-end payroll ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain and update employee records in the payroll system.
- Prepare payroll reconciliations and journals with accurate cost centre allocations and cost recharges for shared resources including security and legal.
- Ensure compliance with payroll laws and regulations.
- Prepare and manage payroll reports and documentation for auditing purposes.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee queries promptly.
- Analyze and report on payroll expenses and maintain records.
- Manage payroll tax and other employment-related taxes and insurances.
- Calculate annual and long service leave.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or similar role.
- Experience using Keypay payroll system.
- In-depth knowledge of payroll regulations and procedures.
- Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong numerical aptitude.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information discreetly.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.
