Tunnel Permit Coordinator

Laing O'Rourke, a Tier 1 constructor and International Engineering Enterprise, is seeking a highly skilled Ground Penetration Permit (GPP) Coordinator to join their team on the Suburban Rail Loop Early and Initial Works Project.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have substantial experience in a similar role on infrastructure or rail projects, with a demonstrable commitment to project safety and excellent interpersonal and written skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Reviewing submitted Ground Penetration Permits (GPP's) to ensure accuracy of information
- Conducting site walks with relevant personnel, identifying existing utility assets, reviewing critical control measures and sign off of GPP with Responsible Person
- Liaison with stakeholders (e.g. USP's) to ensure compliance to their standards
- Ensuring that newly installed utilities are correctly recorded daily and updated on all GPP's in use
- Administering of the Ground Penetration Permit process on site, working closely with engineers and supervisors in charge of work groups
- Auditing of the implementation of the GPP process (field and desktop) for compliance
- Liaising with the project management team to achieve project objectives and coordinate and review the scopes of work and direct personnel accordingly.

Salary Range: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum-
