About the Role
  • Develop and implement an effective internal communications strategy to engage staff and stakeholders.
  • Lead the enhancement of the organisation's intranet, creating engaging and informative content that drives employee satisfaction.
  • Oversee staff communications, including updates on major projects such as building relocation and organisational restructure.
  • Collaborate with teams to uncover and share key information internally.
  • Support the CEO-driven internal newsletter, ACIAR Matters, to promote transparency and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing internal communications strategies to align with business objectives.
  • Designing and delivering engaging content for the intranet to foster a sense of community among employees.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely information on staff communications channels, ensuring seamless communication across teams.
  • Fostering collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify and share critical information effectively.
  • Collaborating with the editorial team to produce high-quality content for the internal newsletter, ACIAR Matters.

About You:

  • You hold proven experience in internal communications within a government setting, with a strong understanding of stakeholder engagement principles.
  • You possess exceptional written communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages that resonate with diverse audiences.
  • You have expertise in SharePoint for intranet management, with a keen eye for design and user experience.
  • You are an adept collaborator, able to build strong relationships with teams and stakeholders to drive effective communication.
