Job Opportunity: Conservation Partnerships OfficerWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team in a key role supporting the environmental work of private landowners. This exciting opportunity will involve facilitating various programs, providing expert advice, and working collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
- The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the ecology of the Sunshine Coast region, including flora and fauna identification skills, and knowledge of threatening processes and management strategies.
- A strong background in project management and collaboration is essential for success in this role.
- This position will be responsible for implementing the Land for Wildlife Program and associated incentives, as well as providing sound environmental advice to both internal and external customers.
About You:
- You will possess a strong knowledge of natural ecosystems, including flora and fauna identification skills, and an understanding of biodiversity values and conservation strategies.
- A good understanding of the ecological threats impacting on the Sunshine Coast and the strategies needed to address them is also essential.
- You will have strong communication and project management skills, which will be crucial in delivering positive outcomes in partnership with a collaborative team and community.
