Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Business Development Specialist to join our team at ActronAir. This role is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to leverage their skills in technical sales and account management to drive business growth.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the State Manager and National Sales Manager, Commercial in Accounts Management of ActronAir's commercial clients. Your key responsibilities will include field research analysis of new and existing business, marketing information on competitor pricing in segments within the industry, and review of marketing strategy with the state sales manager.

You will also provide assistance and support to commercial clients utilising the full scope of technical systems provided, ensure regular call cycles are maintained to develop and secure commercial business, and continually seek and identify new commercial business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Field research analysis of new and existing business
  • Marketing information on competitor pricing in segments within the industry
  • Review of marketing strategy with state sales manager
  • Assistance and support to commercial clients
  • Maintenance of regular call cycles
  • Continual identification of new commercial business opportunities
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • 3+ years experience in a technical and sales focused role - HVAC or similar industry
  • Successful sales growth and account management experience
  • Technical understanding of HVAC equipment and demonstrated industry knowledge
  • HVAC trade qualification desirable
  • Creative flair and eye for detail with ability to think innovatively
  • Proven experience in dealing with commercial applications
  • Demonstrated project management experience
  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability when under pressure
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

Location and Salary

This role is based in Australia, and we are offering a competitive salary of AUD $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
