Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Partnerships Manager to join our team at the South Australian Tourism Commission. In this role, you will be responsible for generating income through sponsorships, partnerships, hospitality, corporate partnerships, exhibition space sales and effective account management of commercial partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sponsorship Program Management: Manage all aspects of the sponsorship program for our managed events portfolio, ensuring a high level of servicing and activation for current and new sponsors.
  • New Business Acquisition: Identify and secure new sponsors that align with our strategic direction and adhere to South Australian Government procurement practices.
  • Partnership Agreements: Collaborate with our servicing team to execute partnership agreements (including new and renewal agreements) with Major, Corporate and Supporting partners.
  • Sponsor Servicing Budget: Manage the relevant sponsor servicing budget, reducing costs and maximising profit while delivering all sponsor obligations.
  • New Business Development: Leverage our existing network to hunt for new business and income opportunities for our events.
  • Reporting and Compliance: Provide relevant reports on contract management, compliance and sales performance.
Requirements:
  • Estimate Salary: $85,000 - $115,000 per annum based on location and experience.
  • Location: Adelaide, South Australia.
  • Industry: Tourism and Events.
