Major Incident Coordinator

At Kinetic IT, we're seeking a skilled Major Incident Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our service management team, you'll be responsible for coordinating and leading the resolution of high-priority incidents, ensuring swift restoration of ICT capabilities.

About the Role

You'll work closely with internal and external stakeholders to manage expectations and ensure effective communication throughout the incident resolution process. Your attention to detail, critical thinking, and ability to prioritize tasks will be essential in succeeding in this role.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Provide major incident coordination and lead the resolution of P1 and P2 incidents.
  • Ensure processes are followed to a high standard and adhere to operational level agreements.
  • Proactively participate in Continual Service Improvement of the Major Incident Management process.
  • Develop and foster successful stakeholder relationships both internally and externally.
  • Create high-level summaries and briefings for executive stakeholders.
  • Ability to work nights and weekends for 12-hour shifts on a 28-day rotating shift cycle (23% Shift Loading).
  • The nature of work requires staff to be on site with no ability to work from home.

Requirements

  • Essential: Hold an active AGSVA NV1 Security Clearance.
  • Strong and effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
