Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Care Planning: Assess the medical, physical, psychological, social, and spiritual needs of patients to ensure high-quality care.
  • Intervention and Support: Provide physical and psychological care and support to patients, contributing to assessment, diagnosis, and treatment within a safe and therapeutic environment.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Actively encourage patients and their significant others to participate in management planning and care programs, promoting prompt recovery and optimal outcomes.
  • Quality Improvement: Monitor and review the provision of care using research outcomes, continuous quality improvement activities, and systems appraisals.
Requirements
  • Education and Qualifications: Completed Bachelor of Nursing Degree and current Nursing Registration with AHPRA.
  • Experience: Current experience in the delivery of Aged Care Mental Health Nursing is essential, with a strong focus on conflict management and negotiation.
  • Skills and Attributes: Motivated, professional, and exhibiting exceptional communication and time management skills, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
