Job Title:

Catering Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Catering Operations Manager to join our team.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be accountable for all onsite catering operations. This includes managing a high-performing team, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving continuous improvement in efficiency and profitability.

Key responsibilities include maintaining a high standard of service in accordance with client expectations, while working within budget constraints. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional results.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Australian Citizenship or full Australian working rights
  • Able to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug & alcohol testing and police check
  • Strong Chef experience and work history required (FIFO experience highly desirable)
  • Certificate III Commercial Cookery
  • Advanced Food Handlers Certificate or Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
  • Experience in a high-pressure catering, boardroom, corporate, hotel, or events environment
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or management role
  • Ability to manage a team of up to 30 staff
  • Experience in menu planning and production
  • Demonstrated ability to control food and labour costs, as well as a demonstrated analytical and mathematical ability
