Job Opportunity for a Junior Sous Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Junior Sous Chef to support our Food & Beverage and Kitchen operations. This role is responsible for managing daily food preparation, production, and menu implementation to deliver innovative, safe, and high-quality cuisine that meets guest expectations.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage restaurant, room service, and conference food operations, ensuring seamless execution of daily tasks.
  • Collaborate with service teams to ensure consistent quality and exceptional service standards for guests.
  • Maintain strict adherence to food standards, preparation, presentation, and cooking techniques in line with Brand Standard guidelines.
  • Oversee kitchen operations in the absence of the Executive Chef, guaranteeing smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Maintain impeccable hygiene and safety standards in accordance with Health & Safety and HACCP requirements.
  • Foster a positive work environment, promoting team development and training initiatives.
  • Coordinate with Restaurant/Bar Managers and Conference Sales teams to achieve operational objectives and maximize revenue.
  • Optimize food costs within allocated budget, manage inventory control, and coordinate purchasing activities.
  • Represent the organization professionally to guests, suppliers, and partners, upholding our values and brand image.
Key Qualifications
  • Hold trade qualifications in cookery or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in the hotel or hospitality industry, preferably in a similar role.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of food safety requirements and best practices.
  • Exhibit a service-oriented mindset with attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional results.
  • Show ability to work independently and as part of a multicultural team, adapting to changing circumstances.
  • Possess strong communication, interpersonal, and time management skills, ensuring seamless collaboration and productivity.
  • Be self-motivated, energetic, and adaptable, with a commitment to our values and culture.
