Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Casual Registered Nurse to join our Care team at Moran Kellyville home. This rewarding opportunity offers an above-award rate of $39 - $48.18 per hour, providing a competitive salary for skilled professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and evaluate individualised resident care plans, ensuring comprehensive assessments are completed.
  • Provide clinical services, including wound management, medication management, and palliative care, promoting optimal health outcomes.
  • Liaise with medical and allied health professionals, as well as residents' family members, fostering open communication and collaboration.
  • Work closely with the Clinical Leadership team to address complex clinical management needs, ensuring seamless care delivery.
  • Supervise and support our Personal Care Workers, providing guidance and mentorship to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Current Registration with AHPRA, demonstrating commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Caring and empathetic approach, essential for building strong relationships with residents and colleagues.
  • Excellent communication skills, enabling effective interaction with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership skills, facilitating teamwork and collaboration within the Care team.
  • Good assessment and prioritisation skills, ensuring efficient care delivery and resident satisfaction.
  • Able to work effectively and efficiently within a team, supporting colleagues to achieve shared goals.
  • Proficient level of verbal and written communication, facilitating clear information exchange.
  • Understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Current Police Check or willingness to obtain, maintaining a safe and secure environment.
  • Current influenza vaccination, protecting both staff and residents from preventable illnesses.
