About the Opportunity:


We are seeking compassionate and experienced carers to join our care team at Moran Kellyville home.


Shift Details:


66 hours per fortnight, Monday to Sunday, 0700-1500 or 0700-1330 hours.


Your Role:


As a Residential Care Assistant, you will provide high-quality care and support to residents living in our residential home. Working closely with the Registered Nurse in Charge, you will ensure the delivery of individualized care plans, promoting the independence and dignity of our residents.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Provide personal care and assistance to residents, adhering to individual care plans.
  • Contribute to the night shift care team, supporting residents during overnight care needs and preparations for the following day.
  • Maintain effective communication, being respectful and open to change in a dynamic work environment.
  • Complete accurate and timely documentation, reporting information to relevant Nursing, Allied Health, and Management as required.


Requirements:



  • Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in aged care or a related field.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality care and service.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to work in a technology-enabled environment.
  • Valid working visa and current Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
  • Current Influenza and COVID-19 vaccination.
  • Highly organized with strong planning skills.
