Key Responsibilities

The successful candidates will be responsible for:

  • Delivering operational and strategic projects, business improvement, and education initiatives to support the division in maintaining compliance and improving practices.
  • Maintaining the National Personal Insolvency Index (NPII), a publicly accessible electronic database that records certain personal insolvency proceedings in Australia.
  • Monitoring compliance of practitioners, undertaking statutory reviews, dealing with complaints, assessing practitioner suitability for registration, and taking disciplinary action.
Requirements

The ideal candidates will have:

  • Previous regulatory experience, insolvency, finance industry experience, and/or relevant tertiary qualifications.
  • Relevant vocational or tertiary qualifications include Law, Accounting, Commerce, Communications, Education, or relevant disciplines from an Australian tertiary institution (or comparable overseas institution).
