Psychosocial Support Specialist

This role uses a recovery-oriented approach to provide agreed NDIS services for individuals with psychosocial disabilities who have NDIS Plans.
We are looking for someone with the skills and experience required to facilitate effective centre-based/group activities and individual supports, in line with person-centred ways of working.
The successful applicant will work collaboratively with our team to create a safe community that connects people through innovative services supported by over 30 years of experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing support and services to individuals with psychosocial disabilities in accordance with their NDIS Plans
- Working collaboratively with our team to facilitate effective centre-based/group activities and individual supports
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, carers, and other stakeholders
Required skills and qualifications:
- Certificate IV in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of the NDIS and NSW mental health system
- Ability to use a recovery-based approach to assisting individuals with severe and persistent mental illness
