Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Assistant

 

The Role:

 

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our facilities team as a Facilities Maintenance Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the facility.

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks in resident rooms, common areas, offices, and other designated areas of the facility, following established protocols.

  • Report any maintenance issues or concerns to the appropriate department for prompt resolution.

  • Adhere to infection control policies and procedures to minimize the risk of infection transmission.

  • Follow safe work practices and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

 

What You Will Bring To The Role:

 

  • Previous experience in a similar role or willingness to learn.

  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment used in maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.

  • Attention to detail and ability to follow schedules and protocols.

  • Strong communication skills, with ability to work effectively within a team.

  • Positive attitude and compassionate approach to elderly residents.

  • Understanding and adherence to infection control practices.

  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
