Job Title: Engineering Lead

This is an exciting opportunity to take on a leadership role and drive excellence in our glass packaging team.

About This Role
  • Lead a high-performing team of engineers, specialists, and technicians to deliver asset reliability, equipment performance, and world-class maintenance practices.
  • Focus on safety, efficiency, and innovation to drive value through smarter systems, better processes, and engaged people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with industry standards and contractor management excellence.
  • Own the execution of preventative and corrective maintenance, track KPIs (OEE, MTTR, ME, etc.), and continuously improve uptime and efficiency.
  • Be a driving force behind TPM activities, Lean tools, and digital maintenance systems, leading continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Deliver capital projects to future-proof our operations, contributing to a 3-year capital pipeline that supports growth and innovation.
  • Inspire a high-performing team through coaching, performance reviews, and capability uplift.

What You'll Bring To The Team:

  • Proven leadership and coaching capability, able to lead, develop, and empower high-performing teams.
  • Engineering qualifications and passion for the brewing or FMCG industry.
  • Prior experience in high-speed packaging or manufacturing environments.
  • A strong track record in maintenance and reliability, process improvement, and project execution.
  • Action-oriented, analytical problem-solving skills, and a mindset that challenges the status quo.
  • Hands-on experience with Lean, TPM, or similar systems.
