Emergency Management Expertise

The role of Assistant Chief Officer - Assets Capability Advisor is a senior leadership position within the Operations Directorate, responsible for providing comprehensive emergency management and operational expertise to drive effective operational performance in the area of Assets and Fleet.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Reporting directly to the Deputy Chief Officer (Capability), you will be responsible for providing assets and state operations teams with expert advice on emergency management and operational performance.
  • You will actively undertake operational command and control functions during specific regional and/or state-wide operations, performing senior multi-agency Incident or Regional Controller or Agency Command functions.
  • Maintaining accreditation by the Emergency Management Commissioner, you will ensure the appropriate advice, support, and allocation of resources for emergency readiness and response to the most senior levels of Government.
