Job Description

As a Senior Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless handover of assets from construction teams to maintainers. Your role is crucial in mobilisation and maintenance phases.

During mobilisation, your focus will be on preparing asset management systems for Day 1 operations and ensuring complete asset information is available.

Once in maintenance phase, you will lead the delivery of efficient and effective maintenance solutions while prioritising safety and asset reliability.

  • Lead trial operations activities prior to maintenance commencement.
  • Develop and execute planned periodical maintenance strategies.
  • Recruit, train and roster the maintenance delivery team, including purchasing equipment as required.
  • Manage contractor performance to ensure high-quality, efficient and budget-friendly outcomes.
  • Ensure the maintenance team meets contract obligations, including KPIs related to maintenance compliance, abatement targets and asset availability.
  • Enter data accurately into the CMMS system, recording spares usage to support spares management.
  • Manage maintenance budgets and forecasting, supporting the team with subcontract management.
  • Perform supervisory duties, including leave management, fatigue management and rostering, to ensure optimal coverage of assets and work activities.
