About the Role

The Schools Coordinator will play a vital role in driving tennis participation among local primary and high schools. The successful candidate will be responsible for fostering strong relationships with schools, coaches, and clubs to promote tennis programs.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Foster positive relationships with schools and provide ongoing support to ensure the success of tennis programs.
  • Drive primary and secondary school competitions and promote Tennis Australia initiatives.
  • Create and maintain a network of relationships to enhance schools programs.
  • Support conferences, events, professional learning, and education to raise awareness of programs.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Tennis Manager to deliver the participation strategy and other administrative tasks as required.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Previous experience in the schools landscape is highly desirable.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills, including computer literacy, budgeting, record keeping, and report writing.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills both in one-on-one and public speaking situations.
  • A willingness to hold (or obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check.
  • Flexibility regarding working hours and arrangements relating to work and travel associated with Tennis ACT.
