As a Research Associate, you will contribute to our research team in Cancer Immunotherapy at the University of Sydney.

This role involves conducting lab-based research, ensuring meticulous record keeping and data management, and collaborating with other team members and research teams.

To be successful in this position, you should have a strong understanding of human T-cell immunology, experience with ficoll separation and cryopreservation of human PBMCs, and multi-parameter flow cytometry.

You will also assist with various research support requirements and assist in preparing data for publication.

Requirements:
  • Understanding of human T-cell immunology.
  • Experience with ficoll separation and cryopreservation of human PBMCs.
  • Multi-parameter flow cytometry.
  • T cell culture, phenotypic and functional assays.
  • Lentiviral transduction.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills across a range of stakeholders.
  • Strong research methodology skills in immunotherapy or cancer.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as in a team.
