Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Operational Site Coordinator/Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team in Australia or New Zealand. This role will play a crucial part in ensuring the delivery of high-quality services for a large social housing contract.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring subcontractor performance to guarantee safe, timely, and effective delivery of works that meet our client's quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service Delivery: Ensure professional services that meet client expectations by delivering exceptional results.
  • Project Management: Oversee projects from planning through to completion, ensuring efficient use of resources and timely execution.
  • Communication: Provide regular updates on work progress and start dates to clients and service teams.
  • Resource Management: Monitor work status, track project expenditures against budgets, and optimize resource allocation for maximum efficiency.
  • Safety and Compliance: Evaluate OH&S requirements before starting work, ensure compliance with regulations, and promote a culture of safety throughout the organization.
Requirements
  • Trade or Facility Management Background: A trade qualification or facility management experience is essential for this role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, is required.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills are necessary for success in this position.
  • Leadership: The ability to lead and motivate teams, communicate effectively, and foster a collaborative environment is critical.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a similar role is preferred.
Essential Qualifications
  • Certificate or Experience: A Supervisor/Building or Trade/Apprenticeship Certificate or equivalent experience is required.
  • Licence: A current valid NSW Driver's Licence is essential for this role.
  • Trade Qualifications: Trade qualifications or FM experience is desirable.
  • Demonstrated Knowledge: Demonstrated knowledge of building and construction is an advantage.
